In February 2017 I started having really bad stomach aches. They would go away and then come back again with the pain being worse when it came back. One day it got so bad everything I ate wouldn’t stay down so I made a doctors appointment to try and find out what was going on. The doctor made me take a CT Scan of my stomach to see if there was anything wrong eternally with me. They couldn’t find the problem so I decided to see what would happen if I change my diet. On March 12, 2017 I decided to become a vegetarian and live a healthier lifestyle. My father has been a vegetarian for most of my life and I liked some of his food so why not? Before I decided to become a vegetarian I really didn’t like fish but now I don’t have a choice. I ate all types of seafood, soy products that are like fake meat and also use chickpeas in meals to substitute the meat.
A few months into being a vegetarian I decided to change other parts of my diet and health regimen. In June I cut out soda and in December I started working out and going on walks to get in shape. For 2 weeks in August e and my father tried a vegan diet but it didn’t work out because I love cheese too much. Lol Also recently I have started trying to cut out candy and sugar. I’ll keep you updated on that part. Since I’ve started this healthy journey my stomach aches went away and I have lost 30 pounds. Can’t wait to see how much more weight I can lose and get healthier.
